Access points mounted on walls at office height, aimed at nothing in particular, in a building where metal racking reflects signal and inventory height changes coverage daily. This is an antenna and placement engineering problem, not a bandwidth problem, and adding more access points usually makes the interference worse.
The plant controls, the HMI panels, the office printers, and guest Wi-Fi all reachable from each other. One compromised workstation then reaches production. Segmentation is the single highest-value change in most plants we assess.
