Scanners drop signal in the racks
Access points mounted on walls at office height, aimed at nothing in particular, in a building where metal racking reflects signal and inventory height changes coverage daily. This is an antenna and placement engineering problem, not a bandwidth problem, and adding more access points usually makes the interference worse.
One flat network from the front desk to the PLC
The plant controls, the HMI panels, the office printers, and guest Wi-Fi all reachable from each other. One compromised workstation then reaches production. Segmentation is the single highest-value change in most plants we assess.
ERP and WMS performance nobody owns
The vendor blames the network, the network vendor blames the application, and nobody instruments either. We measure it, identify where the latency actually is, and fix that instead of relitigating the argument.

Questions we get from manufacturing and warehouse clients
Do you survey warehouses differently from offices?
Completely differently. A warehouse survey accounts for racking material, inventory height variability, forklift movement, ceiling height, and roaming behavior for scanner devices that are far less tolerant of a weak signal than a laptop. The deliverable is a heatmap plus specified access point models, mounting heights, and antenna types.
Can you run cabling without stopping production?
Yes. Runs are scheduled around your shifts, including nights and weekends, and staged so no single cutover interrupts picking or production.
Do you work with our ERP or WMS vendor?
Yes, and we come to that conversation with measurements. Once we can show where latency or packet loss actually occurs, the vendor conversation stops being an argument about blame.
Can you segment our plant network without breaking the machines?
That is the careful part. We map traffic first, understand what each controller and HMI actually needs to talk to, then apply segmentation in stages with rollback available at each one. Nobody flips a switch and hopes.
