IT FOR RESTAURANTS, RETAIL & VENUES.

If the register is down you are closed, and if the guest network can reach the register you have a much bigger problem than a slow checkout. Most hospitality and retail networks we inspect are one flat network with the card reader and the guest Wi-Fi sharing a switch.

Segmented
payment systems isolated from guest and back-office networks, always
Multi-site
one standard build repeated at every location instead of six unique ones
Off-hours
installs and cutovers scheduled so you never close for our work

Cloud Guardian provides managed IT services, point of sale network design, and cybersecurity to restaurants, retailers, and hospitality venues across New Jersey. Work includes PCI-aware network segmentation separating payment systems from guest and back-office traffic, high-density guest wireless for dining rooms and event spaces, multi-location standardization, kitchen display and handheld ordering reliability, camera and access control network separation, VoIP with reservation and call routing, and structured cabling for build-outs and renovations.

WHAT COSTS YOU
A SERVICE

The problems that actually shut a floor down.

01 ๐Ÿ’ณ

Payment and guest traffic on one network

The card reader, the register, the kitchen display, the security camera with a default password, and the guest Wi-Fi all on the same flat segment. That is both a live security exposure and directly contrary to PCI DSS expectations for isolating the cardholder data environment.

02 ๐Ÿ“ฑ

Handhelds and tablets that drop mid-order

Dining room and patio coverage designed by mounting one access point near the host stand. Servers lose the order, re-enter it, and the ticket times go up during exactly the busiest hour.

03 ๐Ÿช

Six locations, six different builds

Every store or restaurant set up by a different vendor at a different time, so every problem is a novel problem and nothing can be fixed remotely. Standardizing the build is the single change that reduces support cost most in this sector.

04 ๐Ÿณ

Kitchen and back-of-house treated as an afterthought

KDS screens, printers, and prep-area wireless in a hot, greasy, high-interference environment, installed with office assumptions. They fail in ways nobody diagnoses until service is already backed up.

THE BUILD WE STANDARDIZE

Controls, not adjectives. Each of these is something we configure, document, and can show you evidence of.

WHY HOSPITALITY AND RETAIL FIRMS
LEAVE THEIR OLD MSP.

Legacy providers price like it is 2014 because their stack is from 2014. We run a modern, automated, AI-assisted operation, which costs us less to deliver and costs you less to buy. Same room, better outcome, roughly half the invoice.

 Typical legacy MSPCloud Guardian
Monitoring Alerts nobody reads until you call them AI triage that opens, correlates and often closes the ticket before you notice
Response Tier 1 reading a script, escalation next business day Senior engineer on the first touch, 24/7, no phone tree
Documentation Lives in one technician's head Written, versioned, and handed to you, you own it, not us
Tooling The same RMM they bought in 2014 Current EDR, current identity stack, current automation, reviewed quarterly
Billing Per-seat minimums, 36-month lock-in, surprise project fees No minimums, no long lock-in, scope and price in writing before work starts
AI Not in the stack, and not in the roadmap Used to cut ticket volume and audit every action, with logs you can read

WHAT WE ACTUALLY
DELIVER

The services hospitality and retail clients use most. Everything else we offer is available too.

QUESTIONS WE GET
FROM HOSPITALITY AND RETAIL CLIENTS

Do you work with our POS vendor?

Yes. We own the network, segmentation, connectivity, and cabling that the point of sale runs on, and we coordinate with Toast, Square, Clover, Lightspeed, Aloha, Micros, or whichever platform you use on the application side. When there is a dispute about cause, we bring measurements.

Can you segment payments without replacing our equipment?

Usually yes. Segmentation is largely a configuration and switching exercise. Sometimes a switch or firewall genuinely needs replacing, and if so we will tell you which one and why rather than quoting a full refresh.

Will you install without closing us?

Yes. Cabling, cutovers, and network changes are scheduled overnight or between services. Losing a service period costs far more than the off-hours labor.

Can guest Wi-Fi be captive-portal branded?

Yes, including branded splash pages, terms acceptance, session limits, and bandwidth caps so guest traffic cannot degrade operations. It stays on its own segment with no path to payment or back-office systems.

Do you support multiple locations under one agreement?

Yes, and that is where this sector saves the most. One standard build, central management, one phone system, one point of contact, and per-location pricing that does not multiply overhead.
